@MrPonebo No Cool air is not blown through the house from the gases, Hot air is removed from the house by means of heat exchange, air conditioning works by removing the heat from the house, not by putting cold air in, heat always travels to the colder place, the gas (HCFC or R134a) is cold it absorbs the heat from the house, then takes it out side where it is then absorbed into the atmosphere, the same way water removes heat from a car engine.

If one owned a high efficiency geothermal unit, the said “box” in the backyard would be non-existant!

    @TraNWhiZ Haha, well said.

clim is holy shit for environement, 1is the power used and 2 is in case of fréon pollution…

think in anoter way, u have fresh in your cave, take 2 20watt fan and a 15watt pum and 2car radiator, put the firt in the cave with the pum an the 2rd in the piece to cool, same result but 90pc energy saved….

but u have to move ur ass to make this and not simply consume product made from entreprise to make more money (with price of energy)

    That’s WRONG!
    That is an evap-cooler.
Air conditioners use Frion (or more recently r32), changing it from a high-pressure environment to a low one and back. This change in pressure causes the gas to cool, and cool air is blown throughout the house, lol

this is the simplified version of refrigeration.

Those videos are too fucking short.

  13. |

@totaku89 Yes, he didn’t explain heat transfer hot to cold

  14. |

he forgets to mention how the evaporator is grabbing all the heat in your house and blowing it out through the condenser =p

    Nice animation haha :)

I dont have a big “box” in my backyard…and if I did I would just be completely baffled as to what it is…and the Trane logo on the side wouldnt help any…(sarcasm).

I think we forgot to touch down more on the compressor, evaporator, and exactly what this “liquid” is. I will say, I already know everything about AC, but just watched this for kicks!

    thanks

  18. |

    the compressor seems scary

He presented his motor in Turkish and German Universities.. you can find the Video on Youtube, or Research it or find it on my channal… This is Big. But people dont know about it… Please share this big time…. thank you

How about the condensor, thermal expansion valve, and the eveporator?
