13 Oct 11 Jimmy Lin and father in 2006 part 4 of 6

Jimmy and his father appeared on a talk show in 2006. His father talked about his privileged childhood. He had his own nanny who brushed his teeth until he was 7. He was a very naughty child. He opened a chain of studio with 6 outlets when he was 18. He owns an IT company now that develops software for environmental control. His house is a futuristic high-tech home with more than 100 appliances that can be controlled by a PDA. His father said it cost TWD7M to install such a system in a house. His father said he brought home only one girlfriend and her lastname is also Lin. His father is against his racing. When he started to race he was too eager to prove himself. He had a terrible accident during a race and broke 3 bones in his foot. No one dared call his father after the accident. His father had to find out from a reporter. Now he understands that his enemy is himself and not other racers. He tries to beat his own record rather than beating others. He doesn’t tell his father when he’s going to race so his father doesn’t have to worry about his safety. Jimmy said he doesn’t have a girlfriend now and rather spend time in racing than with a girl. His father is eager to find him a suitable wife and he said he’ll get married by 35. Jimmy thanked his father for giving him a good home and giving him support and encouragement in pursuing his career.

While the immediate impacts of human-caused electromagnetic pollution are generally imperceptible, the long-term consequences for the biosphere can be profound. In 1988, OMNI magazine raised concerns about the environmental consequences of a bizarre electromagnetic invention. According to OMNI, ARCO, the US oilgiant, found itself wondering what to do with the estimated 30 trillion cubic feet of natural gas that it hoped to extract from Alaska’s North Slope. While this was enough energy to supply the US for a year, the gas fields were too far from any potential customers. ARCO concluded that it would be too expensive to liquefy the gas and ship it thousands of miles to urban centers. What was needed was a client that wanted access to vast amounts of energy on-site — in the wilds of Alaska. Bernard Eastland, an MIT and Columbia University physicist with eight years experience with the Atomic Energy Commission, came to the rescue with an extraordinary plan to use the energy “at the point of production.” Eastland, who soon became president of ARCO’s Production Technologies International Company in Houston, proposed burning the vast Alaskan gas fields to power a huge electric generator. The resulting power would be directed into a huge antenna complex, 40 miles on a side. The antennae would

This is a great style. I love it. It’s fast, cheap, easy, and best of all.. requires no heat appliances! You can’t beat that! Music from incompetech.com
