While single serve coffee systems continue to gain popularity, there have always been drawbacks – weak coffee, the ability to brew only a small cup at a time, and most notably, flawed coffee capsule designs and water heating systems. Touch Coffee & Beverages is re-inventing the single serve coffee platform with the release of its ground-breaking Touch T414S brewer and re-engineered capsules. The easy-to-use system brews superior tasting, coffee shop-quality coffee in significantly less time than current machines.

According to the National Coffee Association USA, the brewing water temperature for a good cup of coffee is between 195 and 205 degrees Fahrenheit for optimal extraction. The Touch T414S brewer can reach this ideal temperature by using its flash heating system and starts brewing in under 20 seconds after being off all night. Touch superior coffee quality is also due to the fact that the hot water has more contact with the coffee grounds, which ensures that all of the coffee flavor is extracted. Other machines take much longer to warm up and then shoot water through the coffee grounds too quickly, so you end up throwing away untapped flavor with the used capsule. Even with a slower, more deliberate brew, when factoring in the warm-up time, the Touch 414S still turns out a cup of joe in a fraction of the time.

Compared to K-Cups, which only fit up to 12.5 grams of coffee, Touch XBOLD CUPS pack up to 15 grams of coffee and Touch XLARGE CUPS provide up to 18 grams of coffee or 25 grams of hot chocolate. Touch brewers are open platform, meaning they are also fully compatible with existing Keurig K-Cups and generic cups in addition to their XBOLD CUPS and XLARGE CUPS. Conversely, each and every Touch cup works in first generation Keurig brewers.

You can now brew larger cups of coffee without sacrificing flavor. Customize your coffee experience by choosing from 5 cup sizes – 6, 8, 10, 12 or 14 ounces, and 3 brew strengths – mild, medium or bold. Plus, the Touch brewer removable 90-ounce water tank has a greater capacity and is shorter in height than its counterparts, meaning you will be refilling less often, and it will be less awkward when you do. 31 Aug 12 Bodum Pebo vacuum coffee brewer

The Pebo coffee maker goes back to 1958, when Bodum came up with the vacuum coffee brewer called Santos. Three things make coffee vacuum brewing so effective – the coffee grounds and boiling water are entirely sealed off under heavy vapor pressure, aroma has no escape and every extractable molecule of coffee substance is extracted.

Strong vapor pressure, created by the boiling water in the lower glass bowl, pushes the water to the upper bowl where it mixes with the coffee grounds. When you remove Pebo from the heat, vacuum pressure will draw the brewed coffee down through a strainer, back into the bottom bowl. Now it is ready.

You can make between 6 to 8 cups, while observing the whole process through the clear heat-resistant glass, and the result is well worth the wait. Carafe comes with cool-touch handle and Pebo can be used on gas, electric or induction range tops. The dishwasher safe Bodum Pebo / Santos vacuum coffee brewer sells for about .
