The Energy Smart Unit™ reduces the amount of power drawn from the utility by storing otherwise lost electricity (kWh, kW, or kVA) caused by the inductive motors in your home. Some examples of inductive motors are air conditioning units, refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, pool pumps, vacuum cleaners, furnace blower motors, fans etc. Commercial units are great for buildings larger than 2500 square ft. The technology applied by Energy Smart Unit™ supplies the stored electricity back to your inductive loads, causing you to decrease your demand (kW or kVA) from the utility. As demand is decreased, you pull less electricity from the utility company. This is reflected by the slower movement and lower volume of consumption (kWh) on your meter. You pay for the electricity flowing through your meter, why pay for it and waste it, when you can pay for it, store it, and reuse it again. This whole process is called power factor optimization. The amount of saving on your energy bill depends on many factors. The size of your home, the amount of inductive motor load, and the amount you are paying per kilowatt-hour for electricity etc. Users of this product have generally seen anywhere from 10 to 50% in reduced consumption, but the average savings reported have been in the 10% to 25% range.

    The Energy Smart Unit is a great device. I bought one last year and have been saving about 27% on my electric bill. Have to admit that I thought this was some kind of scam, but decided to try it and it has been one of the best products I have bought for my home. The savings I get is fantastic. This is a great demonstration on how it works. As someone who has seen the Energy Smart Unit work first hand I recommend it to anyone, its worth the money.
